The school recognised upto VIII class in the year 1985, is being managed and controlled by S.D.Educational Trust (Regd.). Now it is a composite Senior Secondary School recognised by the Directorate of Education and affiliated to the C.B.S.E., New Delhi under its All India Scheme. The School has provision for all the three streams:- (i) Science Stream (Medical & Non-medical) (ii) Commerce Stream (iii) Humanities Stream There is a congenial environment to felicitate learning and at the same time a person with educational know-how and imagination is at the helm of affairs assisted by a team of dedicated teachers. A dynamic approach towards education in accordance with the changing needs of society and a constant endeavour on the part of administrators and teachers and also the decentralization of authority, have ensured maximum participation of individuals leading to optimum efficiency. The outcome is not far to seek. We have been able to show excellent result in academic as well as in other fields. We have about 2800 on our rolls. Our students come from different walks of life-thus providing an environment which in no way can be called regressive or exclusive. The student community is encouraged to assume and shoulder responsibilities thus developing initiative and drive. We have an elaborate prefectorial and monitorial system to help the students in their efforts to develop their personalities. Young pupils are endowed with an inexhaustible fund of energy. Sports and academics still leave a lot of talent and energy unexplored. To provide avenues for developing these special individual talents, more than 26 cultural and co-curricular activities are provided. Keeping in view the ideals of democracy and our ancient culture, Sanatan Dharam Public School strives to provide a system of education most suited to the needs of our society today.
