About St. John's Model School
The St John's Model School was established in 2003 at Mayur Vihar as part of a social and community development initiative of the St. John's Orthodox Church Society registered with the Registrar of Societies, Delhi, the local body of the Indian Orthodox Church which manages several educational institutions, colleges (including engineering and medical), hospitals, old age homes, orphanages across India. The School is an un-aided Christian Minority School and strives to effect positive changes in the society by catering to the educational needs of the various strata of the society by stepping beyond the confines of gender, caste, religion and economic status. The school is currently offering quality education to around 1200 students till Class VIII. The school aims to achieve holistic growth of each child is facilitated through a strong curriculum supported by qualified and efficient teachers. The school inspires the joy of learning by fostering a culture of creativity and organizes a host of co-curricular activities which enables every student to discover and realize their full potential. The school imparts disciplined, liberal and comprehensive educations which helps its students grow to be ethical, respectful, purposeful and contributing citizens of our country.
