About Red Roses Public School - Saket
The Trust set up its pioneer institution of learning, Red Roses Public School, in April 1980 at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi and handed over the reins in the firm hands of National Awardee Principal Mrs. K. Nayyar. Blessed with a profound reservoir of knowledge and an irrepressible desire to work wholeheartedly, she became the driving impetus for all the ideals cherished by the Trust that found their way into the teaching and learning system of the institution. The infant ‘Red Roses’ primary school, from a humble beginning in a rented building at Malviya Nagar rose to become a full-fledged Sr. Secondary co-educational school, recognized by Govt. of Delhi and affiliated to CBSE at 10+2 stage having the Science, Commerce & Humanities streams. In the year 2000 the school was housed in its own four-storey majestic building equipped with state-of-art infrastructure and a playground, at a prime location in Saket. It is imparting modern and quality education that ensures overall development of its children’s personality. After the school shifted in 1989 from Malviya Nagar to DDA allotted plot of land at Saket, the Trust encouraged by Mrs. Nayyar’s successful piloting, set up from 1st July, 1993 a separate Nursery Branch at Paryavaran Complex adjoining Saket, directly administered by it, where a Pre-school (Nursery) and Pre-Primary School (KG) is being run for the last 20 years. Keeping in view the massive development taking place in the national capital region, the Trust acquired 1.27 acres plot of school land at Palam Vihar, Gurgaon in 2006-07 and completed construction of the first phase building of Trust’s third branch in 2009-11 and handed over its reins to the Principal-designate Mrs. Ritu Bedi, MA (Eng.)B.Ed. BA(Hons.) The school has started functioning there from the session 2011-12
