About Laxmi Public School
The school origin extends back in the year 1980, 19th January with only 6 students and 1 teacher in a rented house in Laxmi Nagar. Within 12 years of its inception, a small school flourished into a big institution with good number of students and teachers over the years. At that time Mrs Gupta (Principal, Nav Shakti School, Founder-Laxmi Public School) handed over the responsibility of running the school to Mrs. Shukla Malhotra and Mrs Malhotra under the expert guidance of Mrs Gupta (Educationist and Builder of Nation) was able to help her in fulfilling her dream changing into reality. Marching ahead in 1982, Ms Nirmal Bhasin joined the Institution as (Head Mistress). With determined mind and combined efforts, the school got recognition in the year 1985 January upto 8th standard. The journey of moving forward kept on and in the year 1987 to 1989, the school was upgraded to the 10th & 12th standard respectively. The School first ever batch of students appeared for board exams in 1993 with good position and distinction.With relentless efforts, clear vision, thought & dynamism, the School which came into existence in 1980 has grown over the last four decades to become one of the leading CBSE affiliated schools in East Delhi. Laxmites have consistently excelled in all domains of education.
