About Kendriya Vidyalaya NMR
The Kendriya Vidyalaya at JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) campus was established in 1972 within the IIT, New Delhi campus. The school shifted to its present location in 1983 and has 4 branches - IIT (4 sections), NCERT (2 sections), JNU branch (2 sections), all up to class V, and the main school at JNU campus (from VI to XII). There are 8 sections each from classes I to XII. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and has the exclusive advantage of getting guidance from the Director, N.C.E.R.T., Director, Indian Institute of Technology, and Vice Chancellor, J.N.U.
