The School is unique in more ways than one! It is the first Co-Education school in Delhi. The first school to bring minority communities into main stream schooling. The first school to introduce grading system 59 years ago. The first to give freeships to the Economically weaker students 50 years ago. The first school to impart All Round Education by including Extra and Co-Curricular activities in areas of sports, art, music etc. The first school to introduce Vocational Courses (about 20 years ago) such as Travel and Tourism, Textile Designing and IT. The first school to start a learning center/ enrichment center for students who are differently abled about 18 years ago. The first school to start the Inclusive Education Programme for students who come from the learning center.
