About Blue Bells School International
Blue Bells School International was established in 1957 at the Jorbagh area of Delhi by Marie Guha, a Hungarian lady, with 35 students on roll and soon established its status as a premier nursery institution. Under the dynamic leadership of G.Soni, the founder principal, the institution acquired its full fledged senior secondary school status affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, with 2000 students on its rolls. In 1977, the foundation stone of the main school was laid at the present site in Kailash. The school motto is “One planet, the Earth; One Family, Mankind” and activities in support of this philosophy have included commemoration of Hiroshima Day jointly with Japanese students, participation in a campaign against communal violence in Gujarat and organizing sporting events with embassy schools. Unlike many private schools in Delhi, Bluebell School also accepts blind students.
