About Apeejay School - Panchsheel Park
Apeejay School is a co-educational day school founded on December 14, 1975 by Sushma Berlia and managed by the Apeejay Education Society. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from nursery to higher secondary. The school is sited in Sheikh Sarai - I, between Panchsheel Park and Malviya Nagar in South Delhi. It has established an enviable reputation for itself over the years and is the first school in India to have found a place in ‘The Limca Book Of World Records’ for hosting a car rally on its Silver Jubilee celebrations on December 19, 1999. The school believes in inculcating life skills along with academics in students and emphasizes equally on value-based education. Says a school spokesperson, “Apeejay, Sheikh Sarai, will provide generation of students to come with highest quality, complete education incorporating right blend of physical, mental and spiritual attributes, and with emphasis on formation than information with a view to making them global citizens and proud Indians who would go forth from here ready to serve our country and fellow men.”
