Carmel Convent High School Badlapur was founded on 26th June 1990 by the sisters of the congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC). CMC is the first women indigenous congregation of India founded in Kerala in the year 1866 by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara. It is a religious and charitable association of a Religious minority congregation. Its main apostolate is Education aiming at the overall integral development of the women and children. No distinction of Caste, Creed or race is allowed in the school. Carmel School keeps the high standard of education. The value based education in Carmel makes them conscious of their responsibilities towards the country. It also helps to infuse in them the higher values of life such as love, peace, justice, patriotism, generosity, service mindedness and love towards hard work. Close attention is paid to the many hives of education to provide them an education that is relevant and meaningful.
