Atomic Energy Central School - AECS

Atomic Energy Central Schools/ Junior Colleges are run and managed by Atomic Energy Education Society( AEES), an Autonomous Body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The Governing Council of the AEES consists of members who are senior officers & scientists of the Department of Atomic Energy and other eminent personalities in the field of education in the country. At present, the AEES is running schools at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai (Maharashtra), Tarapur (Maharastra), Hyderabad (Telangana), Manuguru (Telangana), Jaduguda (Jharkhand), Narwapahar (Jharkhand), Turamdih (Jharkhand), Kakrapar (Gujrat), OSCom. (Odisha), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu), Anupuram (Tamil Nadu), Kudankulam (Tamil Nadu), Kaiga (Karnataka), Mysore (Karnataka) and Narora (Uttar Pradesh). The syllabus and scheme of studies adopted by the schools for classes from I to X are on the pattern of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan. Classes XI & XII at each centre are affiliated to either the State Education Board or the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi depending on the local conditions. The AEES Schools aim at providing an all round education that is intellectual, physical and spiritual to all students regardless of their religion, race, caste, and language. Atomic Energy Central School, Indore was established at RRCAT Colony Indore in the year of 1985. Now, it has classes Pre-Preparatory(3 year+) , Preparatory(4 year+) and classes from I to XII. In Senior Secondary Section we have Science Stream and Commerce Stream. Since 1989, school has got permanent affiliation by CBSE Delhi with affiliation number 1080004 and obtained NOC from Madhyapradesh state Govt with NOC number: 261681715(NOC issue date:03/20/2016). A Local Management Committee which includes senior functionaries of Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology looks after the smooth and efficient functioning of the school. The Director, RRCAT is the Chairman of Local Management Committee of Atomic Energy Central School, RRCAT, Indore. Our staff & students are performing extremely well in Academics, Sports & Games, Co-curricular Activities and Extra Activities. The students, by virtue of their discipline & academic performance stand first in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The students are getting selected in the Country`s prestigious examinations like N.T.S.E ( State Level), N.T.S.E.( National Level), K. V. P. Y, J. E. E.( Mains) , J. E.E.( Advanced), A. I. P. M. T , A.I.I.M.S, J. I. P. M. E. R and many more. As a result there is a big queue of the parents of students of all strata for seeking admission in AECS RRCAT Indore. Every year the School/Junior College under AEES organise many competitions/ tournaments / Olympiads/ Exhibitions at All India Level.
