At Cosmo Genius we aim: To provide an appropriate and worthwhile experience for children to learn in a way that is interesting, educational and challenging, thereby discovering their own talents and abilities. To ensure a safe and secure environment in which children can learn, play and be with other children under the guidance of well trained and mature adults who are genuinely concerned for their welfare and the all-round development of the child. To build the child’s self-esteem by providing loving care and to develop the child’s self-confidence through various activities and situations. Curriculum At Cosmo Genius, we strongly believe that activity is an integral part of young children’s lives and children learn through activities. Young children learn through their five senses. They need to be able to touch, feel, smell, see and taste. Thus, children learn by doing what they do best, playing. Our activity based curriculum is developed around developmental appropriate practices. Our curriculum revolves around the educator as well as the children. The educators facilitate play and reinforce what children learn through play indoors as much as outdoors. Our activities include dramatic/imaginative play, manipulative play, art, stories, songs, rhymes, big movement play, cookery and sensorial Play. Our programme is carefully planned and executed by the staff to benefit the child’s own needs and developmental levels.
