About Asha Kiran Special Needs School
"Asha Kiran helps children with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, Hearing impairment, mental challenges, slow learners. We also help the disadvantaged children from an economically poor background." Asha Kiran, meaning a 'Ray of Hope': Hope for the Special Needs Child spells: Help/ Opportunity/ Progress/ Enrichment. This Dream was realized in December 1993, after its Founder Mrs. Rita James completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education with the British Open University, UK. She would return to India with renewed vision to, "Make every child, no matter how challenged, a responsible member of society, by developing their individual skills and abilities."
