Sanskriti School is a recognized integrated co-educational school with affiliation to CBSE, which offers education from classes nursery to XII. Located in the diplomatic area of Chanakyapuri in New Delhi, the school has been consistently ranked as one of the top schools in Delhi and countrywide as well. According to the Education World-C fore Survey of Schools 2012, the school has been ranked at the No. 10 position in the day school category of the India School Rankings. The school was established by the Civil Services Society, formed by the wives of the civil servants belonging to the various branches of Government of India with the aim to fulfill a need in the city of Delhi for education for children of officers of All India and Allied Services and Defence Personnel coming on transfer. The design aesthetic for the school follows a contemporary modern Indian sensibility. The facade treatments for all the buildings are in brick tiles and shell roofs which are in blue glazed tiles. The Sanskriti School also runs a parallel school called Umang, where underprivileged children are provided free education. Children living in Sanjay Basti, a slum behind the school, are the main students who attended Umang.
