Hello, I also faced same issue with my son , and i was advised to contact Child counsellor. The counselling sessions did help, but i myself also tried to spend enough time with my son to help him focus and make thing interesting for him. My son was totally loosing all the interest in studies and that was the reason he didn't want to write or read anything. But with counselling sessions and spending time with him helped him recover.
I think usually children who are not much interested in studies and don’t feel excited in going to school, tend to develop such kind of things. In most of the cases children are very quick , sharp and agile, but they tend to loose focus on things in which they fail to generate interests like studies. You need to help in generating interest for studies in her. You might even try some remedial classes. Or you may even check for any good child counsellor in your area. That might help too.
