A number which can be written in the form of p/q where p and q are co primes i.e., they do not have any common factor other than 1 and also q is not equal to 0 will be a rational number. Eg: 1.25 can be written as 125/100 OR 5/4 in the form p/q hence its a rational number 2.6273782 is also a rational number as it can be written as 26273782/10000000 (I won't be simplifying this one ???? sorry)
